Meet Churro! Churro (A428127) arrived at the shelter a few weeks ago as a stray with an injured left front leg, which our veterinarian suspects to be radial nerve damage. He’s been in foster care recovering for the past few weeks, and miraculously has started to regain use of his leg! While his gait has been improving recently, he will sometimes still drag his front foot when he walks and has to wear a light bandage to prevent abrasions from dragging. Churro needs a patient adopter who would be willing to follow up with their own veterinarian after adoption regarding his front leg. He might need continued light bandages, acupuncture, or physical therapy as he continues to recover. He also needs an adopter who can monitor his leg diligently during his recovery.
