Hi, I’m Forrest! I’m a 5 year-old guy who loves head scratches and treats! My foster mom says that I’m slowly gettin used to back scratches and more attention, and I actually seek attention from her now (especially while she’s working on that computer thingy and not petting me)! I no longer get nervous and hide when new people come around either! I would do best in a home with a nice, patient family who will give me time to get comfortable and warm up. So far I’ve been non-aggressive around other neutered male kitties and even dogs! I am a happy and healthy kitty, but I am FIV positive. FIV+ cats can live just as long and as healthy as non-FIV cats. I also need a home where I can remain indoors and live with or without other non-aggressive kitties. FIV is contagious to other kitties, but only through deep bite wounds. FIV is species-specific and not contagious to humans, dogs, etc. Learn more:

I’m litter box trained (I’ve never had an accident outside of the box!), and I know how to use cardboard and sisal post scratchers instead of furniture!
