Hi, My name is Cisco and I had a "hard luck" story but am doing so much better now!!  When I was just 6 weeks old someone dumped on the doorstep of Orange County Animal Services... as if that wasn't bad enough upon examination it was discovered that I had a broken front leg as well as scrapes and motor oil all along my body ... evidently I was on the losing end of an encounter with a car!  I would have been euthanized immediately, not because of a life threatening condition but simply because Or Co Animal Services receives so very many kittens & cats every day that as a result dozens of healthy kittens & cats are euthanized every single day due to just not enough room and not enough people coming forward to adopt ... so a kitten that requires extra care does not stand a chance.  Fortunately the vet tech who examined me immediately fell in love with me, and even though she couldn't take me in herself she contacted my future foster mom who of course agreed!!  My foster mom had planned to have the leg amputated (kittens & cats adapt surprisingly well to being 3-legged!!), but her vet instead suggested trying to save it.  There was such extensive nerve & tendon damage that it would not fully function again, but the plan was to fuse together the bones so it could act as a brace.  And after 3 months of wearing various casts that was accomplished!!
Despite all I've gone through I am still a very sweet-natured boy!!  And you would not believe how well I get around!!  I can keep up with even the 8 week old kittens, AND love to cuddle and be groomed by the adult cats in the household!
Even though I'm considered "special needs" I require no extra care due to my "disability".  But I'm an indoor kitten and more important than ever for me to remain so, protected from hazards of the outdoors.  I get along very well with other kittens & cats, and I definitely need another feline companion so that I won't get bored or lonely when you're not around.   And I'm so ready to go home with that special someone, could that be you? Please email for more information.
