Egypt is a 3 year old golden tabby female who was surrendered to the shelter by her owner for reasons unknown. What IS know is that Egypt's abandonment was by no fault of hers. For you see, this lovely girl has no faults. And I say this as the owner of numerous fault-FULL (but still loved) cats. Egypt is like a shining cat angel who miscalculated a leap from one cloud to another and came plunging to earth. Her deep gold eyes glow with a secret wisdom. She is affectionate without being needy. And so gentle...when she's playing, she'll grip your hand without using her claws or teeth. Most remarkably, she didn't think twice about mothering the two orphan kittens I brought home, licking them when they cry and even allowing them to faux nurse her belly. Most adult cats want *nothing* to do with kittens...and here is Egypt being a better caretaker than many actual mother cats I foster! Dear reader, please help me find her home! Egypt is vibrantly healthy, spayed and micro-chipped and ready to come join you for Thanksgiving dinner.

I'm litterbox trained and don't scratch furniture, instead I like to stretch my front paws on a sisal twine scratching post and on the Turbo scratcher. I'm an indoor kitten and prefer to remain so, protected from hazards of the outdoors. And I'm so ready to go home with my new family! My adoption fee is only $40. Please email for more information.
