Meet handsome Timmy! He's a beautiful, healthy, brown tabby who is just as sweet as can be and very gentle. He's got big ears with little tufts of hair at the tips- so cute! Timmy came into his foster home as a pretty timid and slightly fearful cat. Everyday he's getting better, braver and more social; he's breaking out of his shell by getting used to noises and checking out his surroundings and getting lots of TLC. He's quiet except for the occasional "happy to see you" meow and not at all demanding. He is learning to really love human attention though. He purrs when petted and his favorite spots are above his tail and on his head and face. Timmy has become a lap cat and a snuggler! His history is unknown and he seemed unfamiliar with toys at first, but now he loves to play- he chases balls, toy mice and his favorite is when you drag the string toy around for him. He has his claws of course but scratching furniture hasn't been an issue at all; he uses the scratching posts. As a matter of fact, the last time his nails were trimmed he lay there purring the entire time and even let his foster mom trim his back claws. He's such a good cat! He is litter box trained and a covered box is best as he likes to cover his stuff really well. This cutie enjoys sitting in the window watching and listening to the outside world. He wasn't neutered until recently but he never exhibited any typical intact male behavior. I know he'll be a great companion for the right person/family, perhaps older kids would be okay and someone willing to be patient while he adjusts to new surroundings again. He's been in foster care for quite a while now so he's more than ready to start his new life with you. Please contact his foster mom at michefaust@gmail if interested in meeting this sweetie pie. Thank you!
