Zippy is the most wonderful, sweet, cautiously affectionate, 8 month-old boy. He was brought in to foster care at an older-than-average age, which makes him nervous around people. However, given a patient foster home he has thrived. When his foster parents are asleep and he thinks they won't notice, he sneaks into bed to sleep on their legs.

Because he's nervous around people, Zippy needs a home with patient, understanding adults, no young children who might not respect his boundaries. He actively avoids scratching people, no matter how scared he is, but we don't want him to be put in a position where he might feel like he has to defend himself.

Zippy LOVES his foster brother. He would do amazingly in a family that needs a companion for their current cat. All the affection he's too scared to lavish on his human foster family goes entirely to his feline foster brother.

In addition to other cats, Zippy loves toys and will play with his foster mom for hours, or at least until her arm gets tired. He also loves TV and YouTube, whether it's for cats or humans. If there's a screen, he's there. (He's also always up being bribed with Churu treats. He said this was very important to add.)
