Heidi is a 6 month old brown tabby with a few orange spots who came to her current foster home in February for socialization. With the help of the resident cat, she warmed up to her foster mom within a few days and allowed to be petted. Unfortunately, after a two week stint in an ecollar after her spay surgery, she lost all of her fur around her neck which is now growing back, i. e. she looks a little funny. She's very sweet but not very social. However, she loves to be petted and brushed - on her own terms, of course. She hates to be picked up, and runs any chance she gets. Her favorite toys are the catnip filled toy mice as well as feathers on a string. She will jump 2-3 feet in the air to catch it. Heidi is hoping to find that special home with an extremely patient adopter that will give her the time she needs to get comfortable. She would do well in a very quiet home with no children. She had limited exposure to dogs and did fairly well in a controlled environment. She loves the resident boy cat and plays with him a lot. Her adoption fee is less than $40 and includes the spay, initial vaccinations, rabies, microchip and Feline Leukemia/FIV testing.
