Lily arrived at the shelter after she was hit by a car. The driver fled, but the person behind him stopped to help Lily, and brought her to the shelter. Lily had a badly injured leg and road rash, as well as a kitty cold. Upon further diagnostics, she was diagnosed with radial nerve damage. One of the vets at the shelter amputated Lily’s injured leg (as there wasn’t a chance for it to heal), and she has been on the mend ever sense! Lily is sweet, laid back, and loving. She purrs up a storm, loves to cuddle in her kitty bed, and likes attention. She is starting to learn to play and be a normal kitten, but she’s not hyper at all and is very calm and well behaved. She will need to be an indoor only cat. She would do well with any kind of family. She does well with kids and will play a little, but is just as happy to just curl up next to you and nap. She’s had a rough few weeks and is very ready to start the rest of her life with a forever family! Adoption is $40.00 and includes the spay surgery, initial vaccinations, rabies, microchip and Feline Leuk/FIV testing. To meet this kitty please email her foster mom at: amy.Sullivan@ocfl.net. Please share with us where the kitty will be living and with whom (children, other animals) so we can know a little bit more about you.
