Hi, My name is Bandit thus named due to my one eye but also that my big personality will steal your heart away!! I came to my foster mom a frightened kitten of only about 6-8 weeks of age with badly infected eyes. Through love and care they were able to save one of my eyes which is now perfectly clear! And though frightened when initially found, my brave spirit came shining through despite the ordeal of daily medications and drops in my eyes followed by having the one eye removed. Within just a few hours of the surgery I was purring loudly and even trying to play!!
I am listed as special needs due to having lost the one eye but I don't need any special care. Just what my foster mom would hope for any kitten or cat, and that is to be kept safely indoors and receive lots of cuddles and play time!! And I do love to both cuddle and play!! I love the Turbo Scratcher which was the toy I was trying to play with only a few hours after having my one eye removed! And I love cloth mice and balls and will toss in the air to catch with my paws!! I get along well with kittens and cats, my favorite being my foster mom's adult cat Justin who is especially tolerant with my rough-housing! And I can be quite the tom boy! I love to run up to the adult cats all fierce and when they turn to look at me I'll do a flip in the air to blitz away in the opposite direction! My foster mom loves to just sit and watch my antics!!
I'm litterbox trained and don't scratch furniture, instead I like to stretch our front paws on a sisal twine scratching post and on the Turbo Scratcher. As mentioned before I'm an indoor kitten and hope to remain so protected from hazards of the outdoors. And I'm so ready to go home to my new family where hopefully I'll get a lot more attention than I do at my foster home where I share attention with 8 other cats and a bunch of other kittens!!
