Patch is a beautiful medium hair Maine Coon mix. She is approximately 2.5 years old and is spayed. Patch is very, very affectionate BUT does not like to be picked up. She likes to be pet and will purr loudly when you give her attention and will do a "happy dance" with her front paws when especially excited! She is initially "hissy" around animals new to her but once properly introduced adores other cats (she will rub up against them and try to get them to play with her!). Patch is the perfect little girl in the right home -- probably not with young children as they may try to pick her up and she may accidently scratch when trying to get down. She is litterbox trained and does not scratch furniture, instead stretches her paws and back on a sisal twine scratching post or Turbo Scratcher. She has always been an indoor cat, but may adjust to indoor/outdoor with proper boundaries so as to not be exposed to the dnagers of the outdoor world (ie cars and stray animals).
